God has continued to keep me another day. I have not lost anything due to my husband walking out on me with no job. the words says that we believers will be the head and not the tail the lenders and not the borrowers. God is still faithful he let one of my friends call in need asking for me to loan her $180.00 to pay a disconnect bill i was able to do it. I know she will pay it back, but if she don't it still will not hurt me. I am not bragging on me just letting people know that God will do what he say if we will do what he tells us. I know no one is perfect and God knows that too. I believe if we would just try to follow the Lord he will bless us in all our ways. Praise God for he is worthy to be praised.

I'd been very unhappy and depressed at my government job for quite some time. I got to a point where I knew I couldn't do it much longer because of the stress and anxiety I experienced and although I'd applied and interviewed for other jobs, I wasn't selected for the positions. I knew that I would be hired in a minute if I wanted to move to Sacramento, but I really didn't want to move that far from grandchildren and friends.
Finally I just talked to my Lord and said "You know I can't do this much longer and I accept Your decision to not put me in the jobs that I applied for. I pray now that You would put me where YOU want me to be--where I can serve You. You know how much I can afford and You know I don't want to move away from my grandchildren, but I give it to You, Lord. I accept Your will for me--whatever it may be. I want to do what You want and be where You want so I can serve you in whatever way You want. I trust that You will put me in just the right place."
Two weeks later I received a call from my friend's supervisor in a coastal town not too far away and she asked me if I would be willing to transfer and fill the vacancy that would be available when my friend left the department. I'd given brief thought to this idea previously, but because of the higher cost of living in the little town, I'd thrown the idea out the window. However, after I spoke with the supervisor, she asked me to think about it and get back to her in a couple of days.
When we finished our phone conversation, I sat and prayed and then went online to view the small town paper's classified section for apartment rentals. I found a 2-bedroom mobile home for rent for less than what I was currently paying. The rent included trash removal and other utilities that I'd been paying for previously. I drove over to look at it that weekend, agreed to rent it and then told the supervisor that I had secured a place to live and was ready to move. I was moved within a few weeks.
I no longer had to drive a dangerous commute, so I saved money on gasonline as well as on rent and utilities. The Lord put me in a church where I felt His love the moment I walked through the doors, but He has allowed me to serve Him by filling the need for a volunteer clerical person. Oh, remember, I said I'd asked to not be too far from my grandchildren? Well, the best part is I'm now in the same town as they are! My 6 year old granddaughter has been attending church with me for two years and what a special blessing it is to see her getting to know about Jesus and His love. One more thing--when my friend moved here, it took her 6 months of commuting before she found affordable housing. It took me one phone call! I know this is where He wants me and I'm so thankful He does.
He does, indeed, answer prayer.

Jesus is an awesome God. I have mailed in a prayer request for my son-in-law and daughter on the 19th Nov. 2008. He went on a job interview, and the Lord favoured him, and was told that they will consider him for the Post, but, there was some other small details, that was hindering him.
I want the world to know, that Jesus came through for him, and every thing has been dealt with and worked out for him. Very soon, he will be starting this new job, with very good benefits.
Praise the Lord Jesus, for HIS KINDESS TOWARDS HIS KIDS.
Thank you for reading this testimony, and I pray that it will encourage you. God bless you.

My name is Christine, I requested a prayer in April, because I was pregnant. The pregnancy went well and in July I got a bouncing healthy baby boy weighing 3.6 kg through normal birth. He is now 17 weeks and weighing about 9 kgs. Thank God for answering prayers and giving me peace of mind.
